Questions about mods that require the Bodyslide and Outfit apps

Hello, I have some doubts that have been with me for some time and I would like to get some clarification.

Sometimes I'm interested in downloading a body or clothing mod and the installation instructions say you need to install the Bodyslide and the Outfit app. My question is: After installing the mods and these required apps do I need to somehow manipulate the mod using these apps or can I just play straight away like any other mod?

Heyas Ilusa

Ok, the short answer, is that it depends.

Unless you are playing a customized body you should only have to use bodyslide once. Or, possibly have to use it again, if the CBBE clothes were distributed with files that don't match the body that you've injected into your body and your clothes.

Essentially at the start, you will have to open bodyslide, pick a preset, and inject that preset into your body, and then into all the clothes mods that you have. I am SOOOO sorry, but it has been a couple of YEARS since I did that, and I don't remember the exact specifics or the steps taken. I just tried to do it, just now, and the program gave me a stupid RIGHT PROTECTION ERROR and won't work!

Tho there is however, videos on youtube that should be able to help walk you through the process. Just do a search for something like fallout 4 bodyslide tutorial

And don't ask me about physics  I was still trying to figure out how to get Those to work, before I left the game

Oh. I WILL warn you of one thing tho. Myself, I advise to go with a preset, that is vanilla, or close to vanilla, just from my own experience. Because, when you are in looksmenu, and then start moving the sliders around IN GAME, the morphs that you are adjusting STACK on top of the settings from the preset that you injected via BodySlide.

This can cause a lot of frustration and some really warped results if you already have some drastic slider settings already injected into the models.
