timhead4640
I spent the last 45 minutes searching through the forums and google for an answer - sorry if its already been posted but I couldn't find it. I just installed the GNR More Where That Came From radio mod including all audio packs (for 100 songs). I think I placed them in the correct place /Data/Sound and now my /Data/Sound/Songs/Radio/GNR folder has 330 items (1.34GB). After loading the game and from the launcher, choosing the 100.esp, I was able to hear both new and old music. At first, the music volume seemedvery quiet so I turned up the radio volume in the game's audio settings. The problem is when Three Dog talks it is so ridiculously quietthat I cannot hear what he's saying. The music plays at normal levels, but when he talks its super quiet. Its the only mod I'm using or have ever used for Fallout 3, and it shouldn't be a codec issue because I can play/hear the music just fine both in-gameand out-of-game. Any idea why Three Dog is whispering?? Thanks!
Adept1
I seem to be having this trouble too and I couldn't find anything that sounded like my problem in all 49 pages of the comments.
TGBlank
Fire up a sound editor, open your music, and apply a filter to increase it's volume. What? you expected the mod to automagically normalize the volume of your songs to that of the radio voice for you?
timhead4640
Fire up a sound editor, open your music, and apply a filter to increase it's volume. What? you expected the mod to automagically normalize the volume of your songs to that of the radio voice for you? I don't think you understood the problem. When using this mod, the old (original) music still played fine and the new music played fine - both at perfectly normal volume. But it virtually silenced Three Dog and you can't hear the radio when he's talking. Luckily, my problem went away on its own and I have no idea how or why. Three Dog was silent the first few times I loaded the game and tried it, then suddenly it all worked (and has been working fine since then). Beats me!
