illusion2448
This is is so weird, after I deleted some trees out in the wasteland, I still see a blurry after image, like it's shadow, I can walk through them, and it's like they aren't there but I can still see them. I don't see them in GECK, but when I go in game I see them, any ideas?
TGBlank
That's the lod of the trees. Other than remaking the tree lods and including these remade files in your mod, you cant get rid of them. That's one of the reasons modders make stuff in their own worldspace (that, and it ensures it wont conflict with other stuff). illusion2448
I was reading in another forum, and a user said this:There are a few parts to the LOD and the part you want to affect is the tree LOD so simply go to World>World LOD, select a worldspace and click "Generate Trees", it will only take a few seconds even if you do it on the wastelands. You can find your new LOD files in "\Meshes\Landscape\LOD\". Simple as that.He then said:Package those lod files with your mod... hmm reminds me we really need a lod gen program for Fallout 3 like Oblivion.. Not totally sure how I would "Package" this, because I did what he said and it obviously didn't work.
Skree000
i would assume its possible to remove those LODs as well. i havent bothered with enviro-creation in geck yet, but when i get around to it, you can bet your butt im going to look into that
