Newbie character questions

Hi everyone, I bought Morrowind last friday and ive been playing it ever since.

The furthest I have gotten is Level 2 with a Nordic Barbarian. I have had like 5-6 different characters but i keep changing them before i can go far!

I have a few questions

I wanna be like.. a bad guy, not like a thief or assasin type bad guy but I wanna be Evvvviilll.

Just to tell you, I have only gotten to Level 2, and I just finished the Blades mission where i get info about Sixth House or something like that. Then there was this one guy that came up to me and said, blah blah the sixth house is coming. and said to join him etc.

So im wondering, how do I join the Dagoth guy? I wanna be an evil guy.

Next.

Now, I havent tried yet, but if I play as a Dark Elf/Dunmer, will the stupid guys around town stop calling me an outlander, and an n'wah (wtf is an n'wah) and all that stuff?

I have tried playing as a bowmen, but to no success. I have a longbow that has damages from 1-20, but I cant seem to kill people without actually having to take a sword out and fight them hand to hand. Is there something I can do?

also whats a good guild, faction, house etc. or tutorial on being a Bowmen? like it seems if I wanna go on the main quest I need to be a warrior type person, like crusader, knight, warrior, barbarian etc.

Also, without spoiling it for me, whats this stuff about that guy trying to kill me from the Dark Brothers? heh I stole his stuff and left his body rotting in Caius Cosades house, and he doesn't seem to mind :D (if u cant tell me without spoiling it, please dont say anything)

Thanks

Play the game beyond level 2 and many of your questions will be answered!

I will give some help.

You cannot join Dagoth Ur in the game. If you are playing on PC there are several mods that are based on 'evil' characters. I have only played one, Suran Underground, that relates to thievery but there are mods called Sixth House and Lichcraft. I presume they are 'evil'.

Also, within the game, you can become a vampire and a werewolf. With the mod 'vampire embrace' you can turn everyone else into vampires.

You will be called an n'wah and swit even if you are a dark elf. You were not born in Morrowind. You will also be called 'scum' by the ordinators. This will change as your personality level goes up until they all love you.

The reason you don't kill anything with a bow is that your skills are too low. Do some training. Also get a Daedric Longbow from the start without a cheat - see the pinned threads in spoilers.

The factions are not really designed for specific skill types whatever they say but Thieves Guild and House Hlaalu (IIRC) include Marksmanship in their preferred skills. House Redoran is more for melee fighters and House Telvanni for magic users.

The attacks by the Dark Brotherhood will continue until you talk to a guard about it and do as he/she suggests. It is simply the way that Tribunal is introduced.

Cheers

The "Sixth House" mod will let you join Dagoth Ur's forces. Be one of THE bad guys, not just a bad guy. I have the mod installed but haven't joined it past the first mission so far. My character who just tried joining had already been attacked by and killed the Aldruhn resident who is the recipient of the first 6th house mission, so I wasn't able to go any farther with my current character.

Bards are supposed to simply be traveling story-tellers and musicians. But as far as the Morrowind Bard class goes, there are no advantages to being one. Pilgrims are supposed to be traveling religious people. Again, in Morrowind, the class doesn't do Pilgrims much justice. Monks are usually religious ad focus on unarmed (martial arts) and unarmored combat, and major in things like unarmored, hand-to-hand, acrobatics, athletics, and the such. They, in my opinion are the coolest and most original class. In other games, monks are some of the most powerful and immpressive characters. However, in Morrowind, hand-to-hand is useless, and unarmored is difficult, so a monk character won't be as powerful as your everyday fighter, theif, or mage. But monk/healers remin to be my favorite class, even though they might not be as powerful. They are original because noone plays as them, and they allow you to have a unique and interesting character.

What is the best way to get money? Besides stealing everything at the start of the game and selling it to the creeper. Like what is the best skill 4 making money?...ive gottin lots of money from alchemy but u gotta play 4 at least 4days to make any real money...and traveling around morrowind at lvls 10-20 can be a pain because of creatures. And if u dont have lots money to get a good enchanted weapon ur screwed <_<

With a level 10-20 character, you're not 'screwed' if you don't have an awesome enchanted weapon.

A decent way to earn money is to simply do missions for a House. Hlaalu is one of the best paying.
