BrotherShamus
I'm looking for suggestions for good male/female overhauls for bandits, hunters, etc. I've got all of the named NPCs covered but is there a mod that will give high poly faces and decent hair to all of the other human potato looking people in Skyrim? I'm using BHUNP for females btw...
7531Leonidas
How about this - Build Your Own Bandits (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/58098) ? I haven't installed it yet.
BrotherShamus
This looks promising! It'll take a bit of figuring out but I'm going to give it a go. I'll let you know how it turns out. Thanks!
BrotherShamus
So... I wound up going with NVICO - Modular NPC Overhaul for simplicity. Still gonna try that mod out when I have more time though.
7531Leonidas
I hope that it is not too complex, I plan on trying it in my next game. Ya know, the one where I finally change over to v. 1.6+, change back to TKAA from RS Children, dump a bunch of mods, add in even more, and transition to Faster HDT-SMP. BrotherShamus
I still can't do 1.6 until I can generate pre-cached grass... but I've got a mod list all ready for when (hopefully) that happens. Build Your Own Bandits actually doesn't seem like it's that complicated but I'm so busy right now IRL that I just decided on an 'out of the box' option instead. At some point, I'll try EastNPC again... I've had some success with it. And Faster HDT-SMP is definitely worth it! A lot of my clothing and hair in game are HDT-SMP now and I haven't noticed any dramatic drop in performance using it.
