Weapon and Texture problems

I'm working on a weapon mod and everything has gone smoothly until i tested it. I only unchecked the automatic box and now the gun won't fire at all. Also for some reason when I use my custom assault rifle texture I made for this gun the UVW's get messed up but when i use the default assault rifle texture the UVW's are normal. Anybody know what would cause these problems? Any help would be great.
