Making pipboy icons!! not blending!

I am making pipboy icons for FOOK mod I am using.

I would thought it would be nice to have some new pipboy icons for new weapons. (e.g motolov)

I have got photoshop DDS plug in for DDS conversion, but in game, pipboy image doesn't blend very well.

I need help!!

i think most of the pipboy icons are drawn on only the alpha channel and leave the main layer white, have you taken a look at that yet?

 

yes I have, so I did same but when I save in photoshop, I am not sure what to save with, so I ended up loosing the image.

Also, if you select "Texture format based on alpha", under the "write config" button, the plugin will automatically detect if the texture has an alpha channel and it will select the right format.
