Great game; bad inventory system. The fact that ammo stacks (so do grenades) while healing items don't is, to say the least, irritating. I don't mind so much the limited amount of space, but the way you're forced to handle that space is not terribly efficient. Also, why not have 8 hotkey slots? If other console games can do it, RE5 should have had it as well. Since healing items don't stack, you'll usually have no more than two of them readily available, since I've never met a gamer who didn't keep at least two guns handy.

On a lighter note, Sheva is actually pretty good for an AI sidekick. She generally keeps herself out of trouble, uses herbs/sprays on you when you're low on health (she's bright enough not to waste a full heal when you've taken only moderate damage), drops whatever she's doing when you're in trouble, and is pretty lethal in her own right when you give her a rifle or a handgun. She burns through ammo like nobody's business, but she does make good use of it with semi-auto and single shot weapons. Just don't hand her anything that has a full auto setting.

Speaking of ammo, there still isn't a way of buying ammo between missions. That really bugs me- I can buy a gun, any gun, and it comes with a full magazine, but the vendor somehow never has separate boxes of ammo? It's not as if every enemy who drops ammo doesn't always drop the same type you happen to need! Why not just let the player top off, if they have the spare change? I generally don't have to, but there were a few times when I'd really like to have had the option (like for the Magnum, aka the chainsaw guy slayer, which- unlike most other guns- almost never seems to get ammo drops).

And yes, Chris looks like he's been spending a bit too much time in the gym these past few years. If he got any bulkier I doubt if he'd be able to bend his arms to wipe his own arse.

Yea i have to agree on the ammo part of resident evil 5, but i managed to cheat with a infinite magnum halfway through the first time playing lol.

I cheated with the guide lol.

My answer to that would be to limit purchasing to intermissions between levels where the player could reasonably expect to acquire supplies (i.e. in the warehouse with the humvees, or after linking up with Delta, etc). Otherwise, just make ammo expensive- as expensive per box as the basic weapon that fires it (thus forcing the player to choose between extra ammo and everything else). One way or the other, it wouldn't change the difficulty appreciably- at least one enemy in every mob is usually carrying ammo for the gun you're using, and since you can upgrade guns to a point where you don't need ammo at all it's really a moot point after the first play-through (unless you're one of the hardcore types who likes to reset everything so they have to unlock it again next time). Buyable ammo would be consistent with buyable guns, and it wouldn't alter the way the game is played- especially since you could always choose not to buy it. I probably wouldn't; I don't buy anything besides upgrades anyway- but it would be nice to have it there, just in case I had the money and wanted to.

Ammo is expensive to buy in the game anyway. Oh i forgot, you can't actually BUY ammo, you have to buy the weapon, sell the weapon to get a standard mag of a pistol or machine gun.

As for the statement on automatic weapons, she fires it in bursts, and not fully automatic.

To finalise this statement about Chris Redfield spending waaaaaay too much time at the gym.. He's just packed with alot of anabolic steroids ;) (You can see those enormous veins in his arm)

The BSAA Costume, Safari Costume, he likes enormous -

But the STARS Costume (25 BSAA Emblems) He doesn't look as big for some reason.

But to dismiss that- I think it'd look pretty stupid if he wasn't very big, and just being very skinny, but could move a gigantic boulder. (Chapter 6-3 -- At the Volcano)

Capcom really overdid it. You're not going to get those kinds of muscles by just working out an hour a day or so. If Chris isn't a druggie, he's a real bodybuilding fanatic. That's the only explanation for his hulkish figure. Although the female gamers of RE5 are thankful, I bet.

BTW, the boulder moving scene was hilarious. That was a prime case of 'roid rage right there. I mean, punching a boulder? I almost keeled over with laughter.

Just fire a rocket at the floor just behind him (Through his legs, or to the right of him) Kills him instantly. =D Like most other bosses. However- Yeh, the Roid-Rage was painfully hilarious.

When you're Sheva and the rocks fall.. That is just PAAAAAAAINFUL!
