StormWolf01
Ok, so yeah. Some of us have to wait quite a while for pics to load, that have been placed on mod pages. Even though we are using a broadband connection. And yeah, so part of the problem is that the authors are uploading really large file sized pics. BUT...Is your computer optimizing the size of data packets that it receives over your internet connection, to put those packets together, faster? Now, I won't say that this will help out everybody. But, I just tried this, and pics are loading like NORMAL site pics would for me, after doing this setting tweak. https://becomethesolution.com/how-to-change-and-check-windows-mtu-size Now, for my computer, I had to replace "Local Area Connection 3" from their instructions with"Ethernet" Now, before you do this, you will need to know what size mtu YOUR computer can send/receive without causing defragmentation. Here's a video with explanation. He also goes into details about changing the mtu size, but his method didn't work for me and I couldnt read what he as typing on his screen to throw it into the command prompt. Hence why I looked up the website. I can't promise that I will remember to check back on this thread. But if it works for you, let others know. Also... kudos are always appreciated. Just saying ;) -Storm
