Lisnpuppy
For those of you that do not know Coursera is a place for taking college type courses (sometimes for credit for a small fee...otherwise totally free and typically almost no books needed.) Taught by professors from major accredited universities around the globe it is a great way to expand your mind, get ready for a more traditional class in school or learn things you never thought possible...just because. This class just started but it is not too late to enroll. I thought some of our gamers might want to check this one out. https://www.coursera.org/course/videogameslearning I would encourage you to check it out and all the other wonderful things at Coursera. Since you don't typically pay and its at your own time it is no pressure. Never hurts to learn something new. Tidus44
Thanx for the link. The University where I live has a Life Long Learning (LLL) program where anyone over 50 can sit in on almost any course offered by the University for a $60.00 annual fee - which is a great way to either learn something about an interest one may have or to learn about new techniques, technologies, etc. related to one's career or job. The Coursera site appears to have a nice wide range of subject matter that looks like it would address anyone's interest(s) and (for me) that are not offered through the LLL here. I do think I will have to look at the site a bit more closely and see what may be fun to take.
