Crashes?

Hi, I recently got this game, but my friend says that his Fallout 3 for the PC crashes constantly.

 

I have a 2.8 GhZ processor, over 1 gig of ram, and soon I'll be getting a better video card (don't know which kind yet, depends on the price).

 

Does anyone else have a problem with the game crashing repeatedly?

Wait depending on what Ram ypu want., and how much money your wanting to sepnd. I have 1GB and My Fallout 3 crashs mainly either due to some gluch in my system or CPU usage ( going over 100% is a instant crash) I need more Ram. I think having a good processor and atleast 8800 Nvidia Graphics card with 4GB RAM witch I crave is the best and probably least crashing type scenario for Fallout 3. I have Nvidia 9500GT, 1 GB RAM and Windows XP. Dunnoo the rest as dunno what to look for except the mai ones like them. And I realised I need a hell alot bettter RAM.

 

I looked into the RAM in the UK and they NOT cheap, depending if you desire a top notch RAM. Hopefully I will find a bargain and get this all sorted out. Please tell me if there is any other aspects I need to consider.
