You could also load enough mods so you play something utterly different and superior to the original game. Sort of the whole point of playing any bethesda game. Here is a post by the very knowledgeable ianpatt from the official forums:360 savegames are stored in using big-endian data formats, and PC savegames are little-endian. This combined with the extreme complexity of the 'flag X as changed' system makes it very difficult to write a tool converting between the two platforms.
