white_dragoon_x
i hope this doesnt violate any regulations this forum has even though i didnt see one but i have a question i have been looking everywhere for a no dvd hack for the game of the year edition of this game and i havnt found it anywhere. and just so im clear i have the game i just dont want to destroy my disk by constantly having to use it to get the game started. plus my dvd drive is on its last legs, its starting to give me little artifacts on my screen when i try to watch a movie. so does anyone out there know where i can find one because the only ones i have found have been on sites that has made my antivirus program freak out. any help would be appriciated. (if this post does violate some rule i couldnt find then tell me and it wont happen again.)
RedRocketTM
Can't you just use a no DVD fixed exe for your game version (the patch you're using)= Try www.gamecopyworld.com to find the right one, backup your current Oblivion.exe and try which one works.I don't think that goty needs another fix here. iavor55
Download deamon tools, save the stuff from the disk on a WinRar file(i think DT can run those) and use it as a virtual disk to launch the game!Hope this helps!
white_dragoon_x
ill try gamecopyworld.com then ive already tried to rip it and copy files from the disk but bethesda made this game and fallout 3 a pain to copy. from what ive learned they only put copy protection on one file so you think that it is working and then boom you get an error. thanks for the ideas guys if it doesnt work then i guess ill just have to get my friend to crack it for me. (and that isnt cheap either  )
