project nevada textures stop working?

ok, so i've been playing for several days now, after having finally installed, NVEC + complete + project nevada + everything else, now the problem is, at first everything was working fine and dandy, then out of nowhere weapons from project nevada have stopped working, namely the 2 weapons i use most, being the alien weapons based on mothership zeta, all i get now is 2 big red triangles, not sure if its effecting anything else from PN, and i can't for the life of me work out why it just up and stopped... hoping someone can help me fix this cause i really wanna keep playing but the *broken* textures are really putting me off...

thanks to anyone who can help.

yeah, i did a fresh install after i first encountered the issue, and it worked fine for a while, but after a while it broke again, not sure, i did notice when i modded as adding weapon mods to weapons it gave me the same big red triangle, might be a problem with WME and PN but i have the patch for that.. so i stumped, seems any weapon from project nevada is having this problem. reinstall and everything. its possible its an issue between PN and the WME ultimate edition, generally the big red triangle means missing textures... and i've checked all my folders textures are there, in any case, i'll try the normal WME rather than ultimate and see how i go, i'll update with more info once i've tested it.

Update: well that seemed to fix the problem, issues between PN and WME ultimate, not entirely sure why, i had both PN patches from WME and NVEC installed...

Triangles mean lack of meshes, not textures. The WME-PN patch is a version behind the last WME, so it's very probable that there are indeed some incompatibilities occurring.

Your best bet would be to perhaps use the older 1094 WME, or use WMX, or compare the WME versions inside WME for the weapons in question and release a new PN-WME patch for all of us :)

its kinda confusing, but i'm using weapon mods expanded ultimate, or i was, it was what was causing issues, even though NVEC seems to only recognise the ultimate version rather than the other, plus its hard when using NVEC to get patches for all the included mods, eg, EVE the energy weapon mod, in any case, i found it fixes everything if i remove the ultimate version and just use the base weapons mod expanded, plus all the patch for it + the Project Nevada one.

exactly why i said its confusing, both do weapon mods, anyway, now i got issues with using my inventory >.>, have to reinstall the UE version just to remove a gun that is causing my game to crash the moment i even look at it in my inventory... i can't win with this game >.<

for example, using the UE version i can't mod the Wattz pistol, but using the other i can, trying to even look at the wattz pistol while its modded causes my game to crash, seems to be a few issues between these mods, or my load order, that is conflicting, only starts having a fit if i mod those weapons.

update: further testing shows, that some weapons, that i can mod, when having mods added and then equiped become red triangles, where as other weapons, i have mods for them, but it doesn't let me add them to said weapon, not sure what the deal is... anyone able to help out here at all?

Not familiar with NVEC's patching process for WMX or Project Nevada. But, if you were *not* using NVEC, these would be signs of not having the proper texture and mesh assets from the PN-WMX patch installed. FYI, The Wattz pistol is part of PN.

You're crashing because you're hopping around between WMX and WMXUE while trying to "look" at and thereby reference a weapon with old mods that no longer exist.
