LordKhaos333
Ok, so I want to play as a merchant of sorts... I know there is a good few economic mods out there and I plan on using Skyrim Tycoon. Does anyone have any suggestions for mods that I may be interested in? LordKhaos333
Yep, got those... just wondering if there is anything else out there, like being able to trade with shops and actually make money.

LordKhaos333
The only mods I'm interested in there I have already... But thanks for posting anyhow =) Skyrim Tycoon is awesome, but I'm looking for other trading things I could do while I wait for shipments and stuff. Shadeybladey
Most Merchant types I have played tend to be heavy on Speech, Crafting and some Thief skills, and do some city adventuring as well. The cloaks and rings are useful for extra enchantments etc and as my Merchants tend to be "retired" Thieves, the crime mods are good for adding some realistic penalties etc if you get caught. My most powerful character ever was an Imperial Merchant in Morrowind years back. But I checked out Skyrim Tycoon Reloaded and it looks fantastic! Thanks for posting this thread, as I'd probably never have found it. :D The above list was the best I could find before, trying to emulate those Morrowind days. I am running a Bard at the moment, but having her own Inn to play in would be pretty cool! And it's the perfect HQ for a Bard. The Thieves can have the docks! ~.~
LordKhaos333
You are very welcome my friend. I suppose Ill have to wait for someone to make a mod where trading city to city would be possible... There was one I tried, I forget the name, but it was way too cheap due to the fact that you could rake up tens of thousands of gold rather quickly. Ill keep a look out and let you know if I find anything interesting.
fifteenspades
Economics of Skyrim had what you are looking for, but the nexus took it down so yeh~
Shadeybladey
Economics of Skyrim had what you are looking for, but the nexus took it down so yeh~ It was actually set to hidden by the author as he no longer supports it. That is not the same as being taken down by The Nexus. Enhanced Speech Tree is a mod that no longer exists and the link says it cannot be found in the database. So I suspect that is one that has been actually removed. Perhaps the author of Economics of Skyrim will return to it one day if he finds the time and motivation? I have a copy of EoS, but I can't use it now as I don't have the Dawnguard Patch and I enabled Dawnguard a while ago. ~.~

I was put off by the fact it hasn't been updated since February, 2012, so there have been several patches and changes to Papyrus since then and at the time I was avoiding scripted mods that were not recent due to possible problems with stability and bloating. ~.~
