Xenon20 Posted October 11, 2013 Share Posted October 11, 2013 Hi I'm now sure how and why but I have managed to sail to solsteim and start the dragonborn dlc a long time before I had finished the main quest. sonicadam132 Posted October 11, 2013 Share Posted October 11, 2013 (edited) You don't have to worry, the game is a game of choice, you can complete the dawnguard DLC too before you complete the main quest. It dosen't effect anything but your level and the level of enemies would be higher for the levels enemies, some people don't ever complete the main quest and decide to do something else in game. RatcatcherOfKvatch Posted October 16, 2013 Share Posted October 16, 2013 If you go to Solstheim right at the start you can get the Werebear one-shot conjuration, which is ridiculously powerful at low levels, but you can't start the main quest until its time comes. Nobody Escapes Cidhna Mine (Unless They Can Conjure a Werebear) is a great quest to take after visiting Solstheim at a very low level. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
