Slaiv
Any screens to back up your post? BEcause, if made right, thos could be a great mod. However, the, uh, style of your writing isn't very convincing.
EricIce
There's already a mod that creates a wood elf island... called Valeyia! Here's the link... http://www.thelys.org/mods.php?a=Phillip_Vaira#Velayia EricIce

Malchik
Ramhu, you should design what you would like to see in your game. Even if other people have similar ideas they will not be the same. There are thousands of mods out there. I use one that makes Wood Elves the same size as the other races because their being smaller makes them look silly (to me - others will disagree, I'm sure). There are mods to change their voices, their faces, their stats. etc. If Velayia is what YOU want then go on to the next idea, if not finish your mod and let others decide if they want it in their game or not. There is no reason at all why you SHOULD stop. BTW as I recall the Velayia forest was rather wooden (pardon the pun) in that the trees were regularly spaced and all of the same type but I only saw version 1.0 and never played it. It may be different now. There are modders resource packs that give the opportunity to add several kinds of trees to the game. More work I know but the end result would be better. Slaiv
Agreed. Just because someone else has made something similiar, you shouldn't stop your mod. The two will be different, because peoplehave different creative tastes. Also, in your mod, you can make whatever you want. With another you are limited to what has already been designed. Guest
I honestly don't think the quality of a mod is based on ones writing abillities, but thats just me.

Dagger of Symachus
Bosmer (Wood Elves) live in trees, like you said, although Dunmer (Dark Elves) live in different kinds of architecture depending on what House, where they live, etc. The three primary forms of architecture are are Redoran (ex: Ald'ruhn), Hlaalu ( ex: Balmora), and Telvani (ex: Sadrith Mora). If you have Tribunal, there is also Indoril architecture (ex: Mournhold). Then, there are are two more if I remember correctly, being the Ashlander yurts (ex: Urshikalu Camp) and Strongholds (ex: Kogoruhn).
