Character Moves slightly mroe before stopping?

Hey! Just reinstalled the game and loving it, but have a slight annoying problem! Whenever I release the W key to stop moving, sometimes my character continues to move for about a 5th of a second longer and its driving me nuts!

 

It doesn't always do this, but about 30-40% of the time upon letting go of the key, the character will just move that little bit further.

 

anyone got any ideas on how to fix this?

 

And yes, its got nothing to do with the keyboard itself, as I've tried rebinding different keys and completely swapping out boards to find it does it regardless.

Is the game lagging while it happens? and have you installed any animations? iam having a similar issue while moving + reloading lever action because of an animation replacement.

hm, no its not lagging when the glitch happens, it usually only happens in sneak mode for the most part.

 

you might be onto something with the anims though, cause I do run an animation replqcer for pstols and rifles, perhaps that is causing the issue?

You're likely referring to an old vanilla bug; is it more pronounced while sneaking?
