Body/Character mods

Hi,

 

I am new to the forums so if I am asking this in the wrong place I am sorry.

 

I have only played Oblivion on the Xbox 360, but now I have a good computer so I want to try the game with some of the modifications out there by awesome users. There is such a vast amount of mods though so it is hard to know which to use.

 

One thing I always felt when playing Oblivion was that the character models both on your own character and the random npc's never was any good or attractive.

 

So my question to you all is:

 

Which is the best / most popular character body mod out there?

 

And the optional question:

 

When using that mod, are there any good armor packs for the new character models?

 

Thank you beforehand for any information/input from you all :-)

 

Edit: I forgot to ask, in these character mods, does hair and faces come included? Because those are very important as well.

There's a couple of other posts about similar things over in General Mod Talk... HERE and HERE I'd write a proper post of my own, but I'm still a little fuddled around from sleep. Those two threads should point you in a general direction.

 

Just bear in mind, everyone's tastes differ, so what some people may recommend, you might not like. But have fun modding Oblivion. :D

I'll be less evasive -

Roberts is the only male body mesh replacer

 

Roberts Female is gaining in popularity as it is seen to be

more "natural" mesh. Clothing and armour for this mesh is growing as I type.

 

Exnem/HGEC Is the most popular female mesh, and has the largest range of clothing and armour.

While this mod comes in a number of cup sizes this is is only a problem if you want you character

to always look the same. Most armour and clothes also contain the body mesh so can be used

no matter what cup size (or thigh with the guts ver.) your character starts with.

 

The mod Eshenaleros points to is a very large texture replacer and will still need Exnem/HGEC

for the actual body mesh.

 

Once you get your body mesh then you just have to shop around. There are many, many objects of desire.
