zlangdon1
Im new to the forums, and relatively new to FO3 mods. Ive seen a couple of different 'Green' Mods, But I was wondering which one you guys think is the best. Basically Im looking for one with grass that covers all dirt and such, and trees. Thanks in advance!
FallenSword
http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2456 2 kb and the look of wasteland becomes more impressive, though you can just go through the trees...
JimboUK
http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5609 I like this one, it makes DC look like nature is reclaiming it.
KloHunt3r
The only thing I don't like about green mods is the lack of LOD textures. The foreground looks nice, but everything in the distance still looks desolate and magically transforms into a lush forest when you get near. zlangdon1
I think Ill try that Summer one, because I was also looking for a good clear water mod, I hate not being able to see anything underwater.
Skree000
although most of these mods are very monumental in their own right, i havent found one that looks quite right for me. All the skies are... too blue in the day... too purple in the dusk... the greens are too green... almost as if theres only 2 settings to choose from: Desolation (vanilla) or Neon Insane Illogical Biosphere-mode. I dont think any stock-replacement mod would do perfectly in every location. The wasteland would have to be hand-done by someone who can restrain themselves and yes, make a greener wasteland, but be logical and sensible. There would still be MANY areas with wild or discolored/dead grasses. Very many shades of green, not just Treefrog Green everywhere :) There would be areas where dirt tapers off into a few scattered weeds, and those patches develop into thick carpets of grass.Grass replacing dirt is a quick fix, but to those seeking a more realistic looking reclamation-of-nature.. there must be a balance of both desolation and beauty.
