Shatteredverse
I'm new to making mods, and wanted to make a retextured Advanced Power Armor suit, but ran into a snag when it came to the backpack. Despite making new textures for the fan and the backglow behind it, I couldn't apply them to the model in the geck, nor can I find where they are in it either.Would anyone know what I'm doing wrong or missing? JimboUK
You need to add the texture filepath to the nif with Nifscope.
Shatteredverse
You need to add the texture filepath to the nif with Nifscope. That helped me with the lighting, but I've been unable to find on the model where the fan is.
JimboUK
The easiest way is to click on that part of the model in the view window, it will then be highlighted on the left.
Shatteredverse
The easiest way is to click on that part of the model in the view window, it will then be highlighted on the left. The fan itself doesn't appear on the model. And going through every part of the model, nothing says it uses the fan's .dds for its textures. Shatteredverse
... I decided to go through it as thoroughly as I could again, and found exactly where the fan was supposed to go. You were right, it was there. ... And I missed it. Thank you for the help. And I'm sorry you had to put up with my stupidity.
