ElNabo
I've installed several user created weapons and some other mods with similar components and they are all a bit glitchy. I think it has something to do with lighting and I haven't ruled out the possibility that this is related to my video card (an ATI Radeon x850). My drivers and game version are current and I'm using FOMM. I'm using most if not all of the better arsenal mods, blackheart and a couple of others. Any help would be greatly appreciated. neunen
you didnt really specify what exactly was glitchy about them, (when troubleshooting the more specific the better) but its most likely that you arent using archiveinvalidationinvalidated. http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=
ElNabo
Sorry I didn't specify what was going on....I had a n00b moment ;). The textures were either all silver, almost like there wasn't any texture at all, or the texture would flicker at random or when the area light would change. You're recommendation worked for several of the mods but the others are still messing up. Specifically the desert eagle and the L1A1 are still silver. Is it possible I didn't install the mods correctly?
TGBlank
set the texture size to large.modify your fallout.ini in mydocuments/mygames/fallout and change binvalidateolderfiles=0 to binvalidateolderfiles=1. If those 2 fail, upgrade graphics drivers.
ElNabo
Thanks both of you! I finally got it to work... I did everything you guys suggested and the fn fal and desert eagle mods still didn't work (even though the other problems got fixed). So I spent a while going over the text documents and found out that I had in fact placed the files into the wrong directories. Again, thanks to both of you!
