Malchik
one of the pics really dark, kick up you brightness... my ingame gamma is all over the place these days.... Most computers have some form as photo-edit package as standard. If your screen shots are dark you can always edit them before posting.
Switch
Very impressive worldbuilding! Well done :D I didn't actually know anyone had done proper seethrough windows... interesting... Very nice, anyway. ^^ By the way, you don't need to use FTP to upload it and you don't need a website either, the site has a HTML form you can use to upload your mod. Also, PM is short for Personal Message, go to My Controls and you can see your inbox. Click compose new message, enter the member name, attach the file and send. js4496
I received the file you e-mailed me. Thank you. Unfortunately, there seems to be some things missing. First, I tried finding the bridge east of Frostmoth. I couldn't find it, so I resorted to bringing up the console to "coc". The only cell is: Destin's Home Interior. (checked it out in TESAME). I landed on top of a canopy bed when I reached the cell. The bed was the ONLY thing there. Next, I loaded your Mod in the CS. I got the following message: Unable to find Region 'Destin's Home Interior' in Load for Cell 'Destin's Home Inside.' The file detail lists 3 containers, 9 NPC's, 4 statics, and 1 activator. All had a quantity of 0, but 1 container and the bed. Should you decide to fix this, I still would like to check it out.
Dreighton
the new file I sent you two... (gabbe and JS) has much more contect and is more apt to work.... I included everything except the slaves... which were the product of another modder's work. I include dongle's cuz he says he doesn't mind anyone using his windows and water packs or the bed to help our moding, even without recognition. But I feel I still must recognize his marvellous work. and talent. so here the new file includes the bathroon and kitchen, and the exterior which all seems to work when tested. worst thing now, is that the water objects may not show up in game, in which case you can add them yourself. as always, feedback AND suggstions are welcome. as long as it is constructive. I hate the "it sucks." comments...but I fully understand the "it sucks because you could have added..."
UberBender
Can you look into buildings too?
Dreighton
currently, no, the outdoors window is opaque, but I could easily do it... just the same way... I will work on it. "buildings" Only the building I made has this... don't think this is a morrowind-wide mod... though.... that would be an interesting idea.... maybe pass this info along to Tamriel rebuilt. Abramul
you would have to figure out a way to disable rain and snow when a character was 'indoors', though. I know I saw settings in morrowind.INI that would do that, but you might need a way to set it back...?
Dreighton
well for starters... it never snows inside the house, it has it's own "region" that makes it always clear, only thing that is fake is it can snow outside, but no snow can be seen through the windows.... Do you mean you've found a way to stop snow from passing through objects? perhaps a particle projector that looks just like snow would suffice. how can particle projectors be done anyway? NinjaSalad
Hey, NICE JOB!!!!!!! another shinning example of the creativity of the "Great Modder!" Marxist ßastard
If you want snow to appear outside of the windows when appropriate, you'd probably do well to just create some two-dimensional objects that are completely transparent, save for a few snowflakes. If you get them at just the right angles and move them at just the right speed and directions, you could create a cubic area outside of each window that creates the illusion of snow. The scripting would be easy, at least, and you can switch to blizzard conditions by just changing the movement direction and speed. The modelling would, in all likelihood, be a joke, since all of the meshes would contain nothing but two congruent triangles. The texturing would probably be the only place where you'd run into a problem.
