nexusclod
The last patch for Fallout 4 came out in 2019, not sure what's going on with your setup, but it isn't from an update.
StormWolf01
That error message is associated with video. Either your Visual C++, video card drivers, or a windows update has caused a problem with your graphics.Does the error come up, with any other games? While I can't give the patch numbers, I DO know that there was at least 1 patch that caused issues with games, on some systems for windows 10 from Micro$haft. First thing I'd try is to see if your Visual C++ will update. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-US/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170the X64 link is the one you would want. If that's a no-go or doesn't fix it, try doing a rollback to a previous Restore point. https://www.winhelponline.com/blog/create-restore-protection-point-rollback-windows/Note that if you have an old restore point, there could be programs installed since it was created that could be affected. If that's the case, you would need to re-install them again afterwards. Tho, Windoze will give you a warning, and a list of the affected programs, before you're allowed to proceed. Then afterwards, I'd check to see if there's video card drivers update for your system.(I recommend that last, in case you roll back to a previous restoration point, because you'd have to update the drivers all over again).
