FlyingPengy
I was looking through the mods and have finally decided on getting one of the body mods... But...which one should I pick? There's so many! I've seen robert's and exnem's...I feel so lost... :pinch:
BossDweebe
Not that many actual body mods, but a number of variations.Roberts male - the only male.Roberts female - more realistic in proportions than EXNEM/HGEC,but most of us boys like the HGEC. You still need Exnem for HGEC towork, so that is a good start if you don't go for Roberts. There are a couple of others, but mostly older, and without many clothing/armouroptions. Then there is the cup size issue. Doesn't really matter. If you like a set of armour or clothes then you character will either grow or shrinkwhen you wear that particular item. The real difference is with the nude body. Your base body for your character is what you will see when nude. So just download a couple of body types, and install them - one at a time, and gofrom there. Take your time, and enjoy. Also get OBMM, and NifScope if you haven't already. FlyingPengy
There's so many acronyms for things...I have OBMM... But what's NifScope?
BossDweebe
NifScope - not an acronym. The actual nameof a program. It has many functions, but the main one is for viewing textures on meshes. If you load a mesh into it you can select a texture by clicking onthe little blue flower in the Block List and then navigate to the texture you want to "try". With this feature you can mod a mod by finding another texture and seeing how it looks with Nifscope. If you like it then you can save it with a new name, and you will have a "re textured" item. It is very handy for checking out new clothes and armour before installing them.
SavageArtistry
Don't forget the Fantasy Female body. I dare say it may have the largest selection of armors and clothing second to Eye Candy and HGEC.
Deleted269910User
Also a note; Using armors for different body type than you are using, can cause a lot of "interesting" issues, such 5-6 boobs on the skin of a female character, meaning the textures for each body set, are not inter-compatible. Basically after you find the body replacer that you like, you should look for clothing/armor designed/converted for that specific body.(HGEyeCandy & Exnem's EyeCandy use the same base, so their armors are in some cases compatible with eachother, but not always as they do have differences.) BossDweebe
Elraine is quite correct: I should have included the proviso that it had to be different cup sizes for the same body base (Mesh). All EXNEM/HGEC cups and the "guts" will work togetheron your player and NPC's with no problems. I have changed the clothes and armour on many NPC's with some "guts" and h-cup. and used these onmy player. The reason for textures being mismatched between different body types is thatthey use different UV maps.It is for this reason that you will also want to get stock clothing and armour replacersso you don't have a problem with textures being mixed up on NPC's with short sleevesor open vests.
