ihateregisteringeverywhere
That's possible, always import a weapon from oblivion to make sure you're making your weapon to scale.
Palpenious
Something I've done a few times is try to export without having the whole model selected. Before you go to export the nif, press "A" and be sure your model is pink, so you know it is all selected. If the export process seem to go really fast, like under a second, it probably means it wasn't selected. It will still create a nif file, just won't have anything in it. LHammonds
That's possible, always import a weapon from oblivion to make sure you're making your weapon to scale. From my experience, it does not seem to matter what the scale or orientation when simply viewing inside NifSkope. It always centered and sized the view to the object(s). But if your scale and position is incorrect, it is a completely different story once you get it in-game. Importing a reference object similar to what you are creating is always a good idea to get the scale and position correct. Just don't forget to remove the reference object before export. When I import a reference object, I immediately move it to an unused layer such as layer 8 for example by clicking "m 8" with the object selected...which it is immediately after import. And yes, you need to press A two or three times just before export to make sure you deselect any individual objects and then have all objects selected. I have never been able to only pick one object to export and have it work correctly. All objects have to be selected. If you do not want to export everything, simply delete all objects you do not want, then export after selecting all and close the model without saving so you can open it again with all your objects still there.
