trueandsmooth
Had tons of trouble modding earlyer, then my game basically got all mashed and Ive had to reinstall the game just to get it to go past boot (yes it got that bad, ctd every 3 minutes is one thing, but not getting past boot, is a whole other kettle of squirrels). Heres my load order, and everything else included. Im about install each thing one by one, as something or some mod is causing my game to ctd every 3 minutes when installed. Right now, I'm playing on high settings, and Ive got no crashes at all, also Ive just installed fomm and still all good. --Next to install: 1)fo3 patch 1.1.0.352)archiveinvalidater3)fose Then stress test on high settings. --Planned load order: 1) calibr.esm2) fook.esm3) fte.esp4) fook.esp5) wmk.esp6) wmk - fook.esp7) mmm.esp8) mmm - increasedspawns.esp9) mmm - fook.esp First, Ill install fook if im not getting any ctd shanaginz, then mmm if theres still no funkyness, then calibr, then fast travel encounters, and if they all work without dodgey textures, and paitence testing ctd - Ill install the ultimate perks pack. If anything here seems like its going to cause me problems, please fill me in.
trueandsmooth
Also if it all looks good to go then fill me in aswell, as I'm sitting here waiting for a reply from this thread as to what to do next.
Zuzaski
that load order should work CTD on startup is usually cause by messed up load orders; an esp not having its master loaded before itrandom instability can be caused by having 2 versions of one mod activetry to avoid perk mods as saves will crash if the character has that perk, but not the mod that it came from
TGBlank
If you're going for 1.1, go for 1.4.
trueandsmooth
Its funny you say that - I noticed, things like wmk and fte dont have an .esm 'master' so dose every file need to have both an .esp and an .esm?
TGBlank
nope.
trueandsmooth
Ok, as Im placing the fook part two and three weapon folders from their texture folders into the main texture folder in the data folder, I cant see the point of part 2, as part 3 already has the exact same files, and more, I dont get it. It says I need all parts, but part 2 seems pointless and thus confusing.
TGBlank
*doublechecks* "Files Found: 2230 (Identical: 0, Different: 0, Unique Left: 853, Unique Right: 1377)" Actually, no files in part 2 are in part 3.
trueandsmooth
I was looking through things like, 1handedthrow and 2handed - those files, and in their folders it seemed that part 3 was the same as part 2 (jus part 3 'seemed' to have more content), which is why I was confused, same files in each it appeared. Ok anyways, noobage aside, I've taken the gcg folder from the 2nd part and placed it in the textures folder of the 3rd part.
TGBlank
Exactly. Part 3 doesn't have a GCG folder. The 1handedthrow is a folder, inside would be textures for grenades and mines, if you check part 3, and the gcg folder in part 2, you'll see that none of the files inside are the same.
