trueandsmooth
TG thank you so much for your fast replys/good advice man, making this process so much lass painful on my part. Also clearing up that lil detail with the folders means I can basically now get on with installing all the mods and hopefully shootup hordes of raider scum. Is it reccomended that I post here if I come across any more problems?

TGBlank
Fook.esm and fook.esp require CALIBR.esm
trueandsmooth
Yep took care of that issue, but after 10 mins of play outside the vault I got ctd. Before fook I got no ctd. So It seems I cant play f3 with the fook mod. Some people have said if I turn down the graphics it might go away, but im not playing the game on anything lower then high, just isnt woth my time when I have so many other games that work fine on ultra. Well I tryed. Cheers for all the help and support anyways!
TGBlank
Fook adds many things. Which means more things to load. Add that to fallout's less than optimal memory handling and.. oh, well. you get the idea.
trueandsmooth
Hmmm and I thought there was something wrong with the mod itself, that or Im still doing something wrong. I was wondering, if you still play fallout, how do you have it setup graphics wise? and do you use any mods? Also do you ever get ctd with mods installed? TGBlank
I believe ultra, then reduced tree / rock / terrain distance a notch, then some toying with shadows and water.Normally get a constant 50ish fps. Except at some points when loading cells where the load is heavy. I simply wait a few seconds to let it load before going trigger happy.A few rare times i get ctds, normally when modding at the same time (2 geck windows running) and i've been alt-tabbing and open-closing the game constantly. Tends to get slow and unstable, but that's understandable. Apart from that, i'm loading about.. 130-140 mods. All running out of my 2.8 dual core with a 8800 gtx. 2g of ram and xp (tweaked beyond recognizion for performance). NOTE: defragmenting after heavy mod install does wonders. Same for disabling ffdshow for fallout3, Uninstalling .net sumthin sumthin 2005 & sumthin sumthin 2008 files and installing the new versions. And graphic driver update. trueandsmooth
As far as defraging goes, Im on vista, so aparently it dose it automatically; suspucious of this claim a few times I tryed to manually defrag and it sat there for about 2 days 'defraging' with no sort of progress bar to see how it was coming along, I then lost my paitence and stopped it. Ughhh Vista.. Also heard ffdshow could help from a few other places so will now deff try that out, as for the uninstalling the .net things, well I have no idea what they are so google search time. And finally all my graphic deivers are up to date, thats a must especially with the other games I play. Im running a 2.6 8200 dualcore duo, with an 8800 gs 350 mb, 4g of ram & 1.5 tb hd. Tryed tweaking beyond performance, updating clock speeds and power needs and such but got bsod, then wouldnt even boot which is a shame as Im shure I could get allot more outta this sysem. And is that 130-140 individual mods you got goin? I so then, Woah, sweet. And I think its when it loads the cells that it crashes at anything beyond low. Also now with the fook mod on, even on low, theres points where I can tell it woulda crashed if it was on medium, but instead it just stutters, and frame rates drop for a second, which never happened when there were no mods, and it was ultra. Memory leak maby?
TGBlank
Yep, fo3 memory handling sucks. Try to learn how to force vista to do a proper defrag. It does wonders to load times. Also, close as many of vista's flashy pieces of crap utilities, antiviruses and whatnot before playing.
