Using a save game

So I formated my system, cleaned up a few issues.

I reinstalled Skyrim (fresh install), Steam, and Nexus. I have my old games saved (backup the save file dir.)

and I wanted to contiune where I was. I remember I was running a couple of MODs and the DLC's.... I can't remember what mods is that an issue?

If I wanted to use an old save file is it just a matter of drag and drop into the doc/my game/skyrim/save and that is it run the program then select your file.

The DLCs should automatically be reacquired from steam. However, the save may or may not work, depending on the particular mods that were a part of it when it was saved.
