Germany.

As you can see, not everyones native language is english here. I learned it in school, such as french and russian. Also have lived in Canada for a long time so english is that easy for me that german is.

I have noticed in nany other threads and in file and image comments that people make fun of the spelling and grammar of other people every now and then. So this is the chance to point it out again: Not all of us here are native english speaking! Be happy that we try our best, otherwise try to learn OUR language and do it better!

Ha, that felt good. Really had to say this. Maybe one or two of these people who tend to make fun of others peoples language problems have read this... And to all the others: Sorry, this was not against you.

I am from Perth, Western Australia, population roughly just over one million

Born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

Grew up in Katherine and Darwin of the Northern Territory, Australia

Lived in Coober Piedy (spelling?) in South Australia

Lived now for over twenty years in Perth, Western Australia, most geographically isolated city in world from any other city.

Lived in small company town called Camballin outside Derby also in Western Australia (American Company town)

Gone around Australia once, half around a Australia once, a few times to Sydney and Melbourne and a few places overseas like UK and Indonesia.

Haven't left Perth for a long time and might just spend rest of life here.

Have lost travel bug in general but would perhaps like to travel as a writer or artist.

Great topic and poll!

Kudos!

Well, I'm from the Netherlands, but I can speak english pretty well. I think that there are more people from europe here, even though English ain't their first language.

I'm from Indonesia and born in Jakarta (and still living in it until an undetermined time).

My English is kinda average because mostly I learn English by reading forums, games, and listening to movies without subs.

My first language is Indonesian (well... that's obvious, ain't it ;D ). The second one is Javanese. A little bit of Sundanese too. Last, and the mostly used language, is of course, English (due to my constant involvement in being an admin in a small community forum and chatting with 10+ people from Sweden, UK, South Africa, and US).

U.S.A. Born and raised near Tempe Arizona current residence in McMinnville Oregon, posting from Sacremento California ATM. I was at Longbeach yesterday. English also wasn't my first language or at least I don't consider it to be. I don't remember crap about it anymore but I knew 4 different Native American dialects including my own Navajo dialect. Sadly I know about as much Native now as I do Russian, none (with a capital O).

I live at countryside... in a small village in the center of the country ;). The village is named Cincu...and it's visited very often by American military troops...and from what I heard...they will build a base here soon. Population is about 1500 people :P.

Pics with some animals and the German church ;)
