Could it be mod conflict? i have no clue. Rockatanskiy Posted April 19, 2009 Share Posted April 19, 2009 I'm not going to bother looking through and trying to find incorrect load orders or buggy mods, but I might be able to give you a jury-rigged solution: Does this happen with your just your current save files? Can you load a save from way back when and play it successfully, but not the latest save file? If so, load the old one.... and kill yourself. Jump off a bridge, take a visit to vault 87, press ~player.kill, whatever. As you watch your corpse flop to the ground, load the file that you're having problems with. It just might work, because it did for me. Unfortunately, you may have to do that every time you launch fallout 3.... but hopefully its just a mod conflict and that doesn't happen. However, i'll tell you this: Your load order is a royal mess. Go read the mod readmes and resort it. EACH of the readmes.You're using many many redundant mods that shouldn't be used with each other, several mods that offer two esp and tell you to use ONE of the two, and not both. Alas, you're using both. Some mods are made to be loaded LAST, alas, you have it on top. Others are obviously conflicting with just taking a quick glance, yet you're still loading them all. I can't load any other save files, and i am AWARE of my royal mess. lolIdk what i should do tho, because i have resorted it since my first post, but several mods say they should be loaded last.Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm what a dilemma eh?Oh, and could you, "TGBlank" inform me of some of my redundant mods? Even if you got things working without reading the readmes (which i doubt), you wont have a clue of how to use the features of several of the mods you have, or where are the goodies found, or how to configure them. GO READ THE READMES. Nobody is going to go over each of the readmes of each of the mods you have and tell you how to sort them. The sooner you learn how to handle yourself with mods, the faster you'll enjoy them. Also, go step by step. Disable everything and install one mod at a time, test that it works, and once you're satisfied that it's working, go to the next. You are automatically assuming, because of my low post count, that i have absolutely no knowledge. I find that incredibly offensive. So you are aware, i HAVE read EVERY "readme" thank you very much, but because of the multitude of mods that i have running, i have conflicts often.By posting a topic, i was merely hoping someone might notice a particular problem they may have had themselves. Do not assume because someone does not post often, they are less apt to understand a problem, that is very low of you. I am not mad, merely disappointed by your lack of an ability to state something calmly and reasonably without a derogatory tone. I would appreciate help from anyone who is actually able to provide support to a problem, not avoid the question asked of them, and continue to demean my knowledge. Version 3 as well as version 4 both affect different objects. Yes, i did notice that the Mutant mod was in the wrong place, i fixed that before i posted though, i pasted the wrong load order.I'm editing it now, but i see no reason to, i have the game running fine now. I do not have any CRAP mods, or any redundant mods, or any out of order mods thank you very much, the only error was the MMM, which i recently added and had a single misplaced file. thank you for all your help.Although now, i've got an even more annoying problem. The several vats mods are likely to collide in some way, probably in an unwanted way, and level cap workaround should not be loaded alongside the HP version. The caravan mod is likely to collide with mmm also, and hair/race packs don't tend to play nice to each other unless properly merged.Because 2 mods dont collide doesn't mean some organization wont be helpful, for both you and people considering helping. Your UPP mod pack is all around the place, up, down, everywhere. Having them together, and next to other similar mods (perk mods) makes an easier read. Same for weapon mods, armor mods, npc mods, houses, quests, etc. Your save problem is likely due to a drity save, load an earlier save (you can pretty much consider that one lost).If earlier saves fail too, try a new game, if it fails too, then time to go back to the load order and go 1 by 1 to learn who is the culprit.
