myrmaad
Omg, know what? I forgot about Companions and the companion share mod. I finally got my companion share mod to work right and with the companion share, hehehe, I can dress up the men in the game with skimpy outfits. Weeeeee, okay, if you can't beat them, join them. Why didn't I think of this sooner? Okay, going to download some hot hunky mods for males! If anyone knows of some really good ones, Puleeease, post me the link. Thanks! PM me if you have trouble finding some good menswear.
dezdimona
Dez, the discussion is about what the OP wrote and they wrote about armour mods being ridiculously sexy for females. I actually wrote that I DID like a lot of them but can't see my character wearing them and that there's very little options for females to choose from when it comes to armour since 99% of the armour mods for females look like bimbo lingerie. Which is fine for the right occasion but not for fighting monsters etc...If you don't agree with my opinion that's just fine but don't go telling me what I ought to be doing because I'm writing in keeping with the OP's comments and not going around telling everyone to think as I think or just don't think at all. Thanks for your input though. It was inspiring. :thanks: it was ageneral statement aimed at no one inparticular, unlike your post which was aimed at me! like Colourwheel, who many would be floored to learn is a BEAUTIFUL GIRL) And I'm sack cloth??? :whistling:

myrmaad
like Colourwheel, who many would be floored to learn is a BEAUTIFUL GIRL) And I'm sack cloth??? :whistling: A lot of people already know that you're a beautiful girl, Dezi, but I always hear people referring to Colourwheel (and Apachii, too, by the way) as guys! Which they are not.

Eshenaleros
hehe, it's quite fun to watch threads derail like this. however, with all this talk of attractive people, I'm afraid I fall short... back on topic now, Why are some people complaining about realism regarding things besides clothing? yes, they have magic, and yes, they have many ruins strewn across the countryside (in every province apparently) but they did it in a way that makes sense. The Dwemer Ruins from Morrowind - they were metal and thus wouldn't break down for a long time regardless of how long ago they were made. thus, they would be a prime location for bandits and the like (which they were) because not many people would travel there for fear of traps. in oblivion, we have Aylied ruins, which also make sense. sure, these are stone, but we have thousand years old stone structures, and the way they go on about Aylieds and magic, it makes sense that they'd have been able to preserve their structures longer than us. With the collapse of these two races, we immediately have a reason why there would be treasure hunting adventurers. however, I do agree that high heels, thongs, and a bra that just barely covers the nipples is not suitable adventuring gear. wanna fight a troll? go get some metal plates, then we'll talk. This is why I always have three outfits - my armor, my clothes, and my sleepwear. I use a mod called see you sleep, so the sleepwear is actually usefull, and I wear the clothes when I'm traipsing around town and such, but as soon as I head off into the wilderness, I have my armor on and at Myrmaad - Tamriel does have a history, it was just written by the people who made the world. Nirn is as real as your suspension of disbelief allows it to be.

Nirn is as real as your suspension of disbelief allows it to be. Context is everything: I was writing in response to this quote: I'm blissfully ignorant when it comes to the real historical facts of the time and facts of when this all supposedly takes place and the how and what of weapons So though the vanilla weapons and armor are similar to the medieval style in the vanilla flavored games, since it is based on fantasy, my fantasy trumps everyone else's in my game. See you sleep is a good mod. My characters tend to have complete wardrobes as well, but since ARMOR is a HINDRANCE to those who don't have experience wearing it, and I always play mage characters, I'm as "armored" naked with my intelligence intact, as I am as a master or armor wearing full Daedric . In real life I can run and skip in platform heels, and I'm certain I could kick anyone's ass in my bikini. That's just how I roll.
BossDweebe
Yeah, well from Australia and that's how we spell it. Also I use Mozilla, or maybe I should call it 'slowzilla', which has a spell checker for Australian English loaded. You wouldn't know from my typos though! :D Hey Chalkie - mate.... Me to - well since '72 via Ca.My spell checker also, obviously, spells armour the correct way, but I thought it was worth mentioning the strictness of the Nexus search engine. And thanks for the direction to the Knightly Armor. I spent some time last night sharing it around among someof the city watch and horseback Imperial guard. The helmets are all very nice interpretation of - dare I say it - Crusader gear. EDIT: A new thread and a new "realistic" armour - Tyrael Armor (from Diablo 3). Bloody well never ends does it.... After downloading all that realism I was exhausted, so I had to grab some meaty thighs (Guts) for my Kunoichi Barmaid. DEZI "And I'm sack cloth??? :whistling: " No way darl' - huba huba.
Crimsanity
Meh. About the time my character in sack cloth pants, a shirt and some wrist shackles survived a few hits from giant ogres and guys with swords as big as I am, I decided realism could bite me. I'm in this for fun, and eye candy is fun. I appreciate the work of all modders who share their work, especially when it's more eye candy! Some days, I feel like battling in full plate mail. Some days, I prefer fighting in a flowing dress. Occasionally, I'll run around rampaging in a thong and bra. I like to consider it keeping the enemy off guard. lol. Besides, my weapon of choice is a 2h sword that's effing huge and would make even Guts (Gatsu, whatever you prefer to call him) from Berserk jealous, not to mention be impossible to wield. It sure is fun though. That's what it's all about, isn't it? Fun? Define eye candy, btw. I personally think of beautiful dresses and hair mods to be just as much eye candy as thongs and bare skin, but possibly that's just me. I enjoy them all equally. :P
