kpruss Posted April 20, 2009 Share Posted April 20, 2009 My character's face has been turning angry after a certain period of time while playing, as in brows turning down and frowning. I first thought this was because of battle or bad disposition towards a certain npc, but the facial expression will never go away. I have to go into console and into the race menu to revert my face back. Does anyone have any explanation for this ( known mods that do this, doing evil actions cause this, or anything else)?thanks in advance. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Sangel2525 Posted April 20, 2009 Share Posted April 20, 2009 So I'm not the only one huh? This has always been an annoying thing about Oblivion that used to drive me nuts. It seems whenever you get out of combat your character stays mad, until you restart the game. There is however a mod that you could use as a quick fix, Actors in Emotions Download that, and put it on a hotkey. With it you can manipulate your characters facial expression, and when they get stuck with that angry look on their face after combat use the 'reset expression' option, and your character's expression will go back to normal. This mod is very handy for quickly fixing that little frumpy face bug that seems to plague Oblivion. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was being crushed by seeing my character permanently angry after all the work i put into her to make her semi decent looking. Mod has been downloaded and crystal ball has been hotkeyed. Sangel2525 Posted April 21, 2009 Share Posted April 21, 2009 No problem, that little bug of sorts has annoyed me since I got Oblivion. That would be quite sometime now as I pre-ordered it before it's release and got it the day it came out. I quickly noticed whenever I was in combat, and left combat my character no matter what I did to try and cheer her up always looked angry. The only way to fix it was to exit the game and restart it. Even saving and loading wouldn't do anything. Then I came across Actors in Emotions, and found it had the remarkable capacity to just with a few mouse clicks reset your facial expression. On top of that it's very handy for getting your characters face just so for certain screenshots. So I find it quite handy for various reasons. SpacemanSpIiff Posted April 21, 2009 Share Posted April 21, 2009 The angry face thing comes from fighting enemies like bandits. Notice how they are pissed when they look at you? Your character is doing the same. Usually just going to your journal/inventory and out will reset your characters emotion....If its stuck, then yes, actors in emotions will fix that.
