Qrsr
Plain simple how much is possible? I know that the engine is "hardcoded" around 21 settlers per cell based on uGrid5 iirc. Is this true for "Enemies" as well? I would like to add 50 up to 100 per cell for epic battles without going wild altering the config, etc. I read about 300+ NPCs in Skyrim but its done using some tricks. So or so i will go for it and play around with it but some data, experience from you guys would of course help the project. Cheers
SKKmods
Its not "actors per cell", its "actors in the loaded area around the player" which is a radius of 10240 game units at uGridsToLoad 5 Some of my mods detect the number of actors in the area to limit the number of actors they spawn using a limit of 64 on xbox and 96 on PC, although my own games that are not filled with crap will happily run 128 actors downtown at 72 fps. The highest number of base game actors found in the Commonwealth are: TheaterHub360Ext 118FaneuilHallExt 93Financial21Ext 90GoodneighborExt 87MassFusionExt
Qrsr
My bad with cell/grid of course your right with correct wording. Thats some interesting observation. Your probably one of the best person to ask aynway. I can only see exterior "cells" you showed. What about Interior cells? Is there a difference or is what you said valid for interior aswell? So should they be kept at 64/96? Thanks.
SKKmods
I have not measured many interiors. I do know that the InstituteConcourse has 110 actors of which ~70 are disabled and only enabled during specific quest segments.
