Guest deleted89738208
I've been working on this for a bit, I'm looking for how to add dialogue to existing creatures that don't normally have it.In this case, I'm trying to add dialogue to a Brahmin, the malnourished Brahmin you can find at abandoned farms. I have a quest set up for dialogue, creature shows a 'talk' prompt ingame, and I've tried some other stuff that came to mind, but it has no dialogue ingame.I'll keep working on this, but I'm a bit stuck here. Sorry for the earlier post.
StealthDick
https://geckwiki.com/index.php/Category:Creatures Creatures have a flag called Allow PC dialogue, tick that and it should work for you.
Guest deleted89738208
I did apply that, that's why it's showing me a prompt, but not allowing me to start dialogue.
madmongo
For some creatures, having a particular voice type of being in a particular faction will have some effect on the creature's dialog. Try a custom voice type and check what factions the creature is in, and maybe make a custom faction for the creature. Make sure you have a greeting with valid conditions. You also need at least one valid line of dialog with valid conditions, otherwise the creature will just say the greeting line and that's it. It won't open the dialog menu. If your greeting isn't voiced, then you won't even know that it triggered.
