How can I check wich mod is still active and not present in vortex modlist ?

HI, I installed majestic mountains that i just disabled and instead of having vanilla textures, i definitely have some thing else installed in game and I do not know in what directory it would have been saved to remove or reinstall that mod and trying to remove it again.

 

Is there any way to determine wich mod that is ?

In the download directory it seems there's nothing present corresponding to that mod.

You should not be making manual changes to your mods if you're using Vortex. The whole point of mod managers like Vortex is that you don't have to touch your files yourself. In Vortex, go to your Plugins tab. Next to the plugin column is a column which shows the name of the mod the plugins came from. While you are testing, installing and uninstalling mods, be sure to start a new game whenever you make major changes. Skyrim puts a surprising amount of information in the game save.

 

To reinstall a mod, simply click on the little down arrow next to the Remove button. You can reinstall the mod from there without having to figure out where everything is. The uninstall option is on the same menu as the Enable and Disable options. Again, it will take care of everything so there won't be anything you have to deal with manually.

 

I'll repeat myself...do NOT make manual changes outside of Vortex when you're using Vortex to manage your mod. Vortex gets very unhappy. :smile:
