NPC body disappears upon death?

I tried to search first and couldn't find anything.

 

I killed two raiders with a laser rifle and when they died there were no ash piles or bodies left. Atleast when the other one died she got both the laser death animation and the flying severed head animation at the same time, but only thing that was on the ground after that was her weapon (edit: other kills like this do leave me a pile of ash, but not this one for some reason). I think some other times too there might have been a body or two that has diasppeared but I wasn't sure (didn't use laser then tho).

Basicly what I'm interested in if this is something that sometimes happens no matter what or might it be a mod I'm using?

Got fake patch and unofficial patch installed.

Have you tried getting a good birds' eye view of the area? You could open the console (`) and type tfc (toggle free camera) or tcl (toggle no clipping). I find that to be the case alot, even with goo piles, which you'd think are more noticable with them glowing and all.

Heh didn't even know there was a console, I'll keep that in mind if it happens again :)

To tell you the truth after I posted this topic I played whole day and no more corpses disappeared.
