cumbrianlad
This link may help with porting mods to SSE. https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Porting_Skyrim_mods_to_Skyrim_Special_Edition If not, I can't help further. A few words of advice, though: If you want to do this for a private mod that gets uploaded nowhere, I'd say that's OK... maybe I'm bending the Nexus etiquette a bit there, I don't know. I've done it, though, to tweak a few things in a mod that I didn't like. If you want to upload this as your own mod, that would be an absolute No-No! You will need to contact the original mod author to see if they give you permission to port it to Skyrim SE. If they are no longer active, check the permissions section. They may have altered permissions to allow people to port the mod. Even if they have, it would be courteous to mention the original mod author on your description page. If you can't contact them and their permissions do not allow you to port their mod, then you can't, simple as that. Even if their permissions say that you can use them, I would personally still contact them, or at least try to. That's how Nexus rolls. We're a proper community. Jeez, I sound like a stern police officer, but that's how it is. I remember when I uploaded my mod, being very proud... right until I watched a video review on You-Tube. To my horror, the reviewer praised some items that were not my own assets. I'd missed getting permission from one person! I contacted them and asked what to do about it. I even offered to suspend my mod if they did not want to let me use their work, until I could do it myself. Thankfully, they were very kind and let me off the hook and gave me permission. An extra credit was added a few minutes later! I hope you don't mind me pointing this out, but it can lead to serious trouble for you if you violate another mod author's permissions. maxarturo
Re-compiling a DLL will not work, you need C++/C knowledge to edit the DLL to work on 64bit platform.
