So, I bought Fallout 3 yesterday. First it wouldn't work because I have windows 7 64bit. Had to fix that. Now whenever I have Wanderer Edition activated it immeditaely crashed Fallout 3. I have FOSE and I've tried opening it through NMM, FOSE and the .exe and it still crashes right away. I have no other mods activated at all.

that's a tad Vague? what tools did or have you used to sort the data with? where is the game installed at? most important here, have you done a simple search here in the forum up at the top for relevant information the MIGHT ? apply. Just asking because we can only help with the right info posted.

you post says this, " I installed a new system windows 7 64 bit, I installed fallout 3 <--- Only? what about the DLC's? not mentioned,

I installe fallout wanderers Edition, I install nexus mod manager, I installed Fose script extender. " ..then " I have no other mods activated"

ok cool, I get all that, but FWE requires the DLC's it install data for other things, and when those other things are installed? ! the data is not sorted, No mention of boss here.<---- see my point? GOTY edition : be it store bought or steam download both have an uncanny sense of humor as far as installing and ordering things to just get you frustrated. The DLC's are placed out of order, fallout 3 is underneath them. anchorage will be sitting at the top. Wrong. and if yo don't have the DLC's installed? why are you using a mod that needs it?

I will help if more information becomes available. Just wanted to head off any offensive comments as to the post. we are here to help.

EDIT: pretty much all data for you is contained in the spoilers here of my signature, it's there for your use. No need to post anything. Browse thru it ,select what you think might work for you. The data was assembled purposely for these circumstances.

on your system, hidden most likely from you is a storage folder what will contain the game basic line up, mod plugin order. the games launcher uses the Plugin.txt file for references only. Nmm uses something else I think.

that is basic load order, all mods go under that, if that is out of order, very strange thins may occur if any.

Well I never said I just installed Window 7 64 bit. I said I needed to change some setting because Fallout 3 wouldn't work at first. I have GOTY edition. I used FMM to install the mod and thats it. I did nothing else.

I've installed mods on NV the exact same way with no problems.

Post your load order.

As an addendum: I've installed Fo3 on Win 7 64 bit countless times with no problems at all. (and I'm sure Kitty has too) Never had to make any kind of tweaks or whatever to get the game working.

Therefore I'm curious as to exactly what you had to fix to get it working, as it may very well be caused by something else entirely.

In fact, aside from a rather nasty memory leak issue, I know of no problems whatsoever with FO3 on a Win 7 64 bit install.
