Germandeathkittiez
I never wanted this feature, when I got OOO or FCOM. All I was really expecting was some new stuff and re-tuned leveling of NPCs. So now I've got FCOM currently (skipped Bob's Armory and the half-gig Francesco's addon) and here it is again: I run slowly backward. I mean come on in reality I can run just as fast backward, but I'll stop complaining; I just want to know how to get rid of it and I don't know how because it doesn't seem to be a plug-in feature that I clicked. Does anyone know if it is possible to disable this, thank you.
Vagrant0
I run slowly backward. I mean come on in reality I can run just as fast backward, but I'll stop complaining; That must be quite a feat. Is that in armor, carrying 50 kg+ of items, and on rough terrain too? Somehow I doubt it, atleast without you tripping over your feet and cracking your head on some rock when trying. I believe this balance change exists because it was determined that it gave mages and archers too much of an advantage in combat since they could just back peddle and kite everything. Many other games, both online and off, have similar changes. It also applies to NPCs, and prevents them from doing the same to you, so is yet another reason why something like this is needed. I'm not able to find the actual bit which controls this, but would assume it to be either a gamesetting which I'm just not finding, something scripted.
