No pincushion effect?

Hi folks

 

I've been playing Oblivion since January and loving it, however there's one little thing that bothers me..

 

I've been trying to find a mod that either reduces the amount of time arrows appear on the player character after being hit, or removes them completely. I kinda find it a distraction to some otherwise good immersion in the game when you're exploring a dungeon looking like a Daedra's personal pincushion :biggrin:

 

Does such a mod exist, as my searches just display results of mods that change arrow attributes, or have some reference to the compass arrows.

You can actually pull a majority of the arrows out by opening your inventory and dropping them (undamaged arrows stuck in your body go into your inventory). That's how I deal with it.

I've looked for a mod but also could not find one.

I'm fairly sure there's an ini setting that controls the "pincushion affect" but for the life of me I can't remember which one in is.
