Zedrackis
I have an issue where an mesh in the data/meshes/ directory will not load in the game. Is there a way to see where the game thinks the mesh should be? I have tried several mods, ones without meshes stored in this directory like Grey Castle work wonderfully. While others with custom meshes like apachii hair never show the mesh.

Pevey
How are you installing the mods, exactly? is it through NMM, or manually?
Zedrackis
Using NMM.
Pevey
Hmm. Are you sure you're installing the full mod and not perhaps an update or a patch? Perhaps you could take a screenshot of your mod list in NMM and upload it to somewhere that you could link to.
Zedrackis
I reduced the installed mods to only two: Alternate StartOutfit of the Royal High School I also turned on logging for papayrus and made a new game. The clothing items exist in game, they are craftable but the when you wear them your body disappears. Papayrus logs does not show anything related to the mod. Game otherwise runs fine. If I enable mods that dont add new models/meshes to the game they all work perfectly. Even the ones that do add models/meshes work fine except nothings there when you look at the item/creature/etc And yes that was the full install for 'outfit of the royal high school' Edited October 29, 2013 by Zedrackis
Zedrackis
I wanted to post this before getting back to enjoying the mods I downloaded in case anyone else runs into this bug. I found a work around to the problem after noticing castle grey does indeed have custom meshes but seems to work fine. I had to get the creation kit and archive all the mesh/script/sound/texture/etc sub directories into .bsa files for each of the respective mods that wasnt working. Now the models/meshes load properly in game.
