grizzly229
My character it a werewolf, and will always be, because I am a big werewolf fan. But when I was playing I noticed that unless your in beast form, you seem to be weaker then before(no well rested bonus). This did not make much sense to me, do to the facts that in the werewolf legend, they are stronger, faster, and tougher then regular humans, even in human form. Besides, Vampires have more power and more drawbacks, so I figure, If werewolves could have more abilities and a few more drawbacks to make the werewolf experience more immersive. Since vampires are suppose to have there abilities more in the magical spectrum of fighting (vampiric drain, and that sort of thing). and werewolves are more of the physical type hunter/brute style fighter.so here are some strengths and weaknesses that I think would be a good Idea to add into the game: Constant effects (in human form)Fortify Stamina- Your beast blood gives you +30 staminaFortify Health-Your beast blood gives you +10 HealthFortify Sneak-Your beast blood makes you 15% harder to detectFortify unarmed- Your beast blood gives you +20 unarmed damageWeakness to silver-Your beast blood makes you vary vulnerable to silver(+20 additional points maybe)Weakness to quick silver-You beast blood makes you weaker to quicksilver based weapons (nordic weapons, that sort of thing) powersRage-Sends you into a fury that lets you deal 25% more damage, +20% more speed and jump hight is increased slightly( 10 or 20%)only if you are in combat (if possible)lesser powersdetect life-your beast blood makes you the ultimate hunter, detect life for 30sec To make Lycanthropy more like a serious condition and causing power to come at a cost, adding a forced transformation every full moon would make being a werewolf feel more immersive. FYI: According to legion, Quicksilver could be used to kill werewolves. although mercury (quicksilver) doesn't actually share any of the same traits as silver. Most likely, the reason behind this aspect of legend, is because people in the day had the misconception that quicksilver was a type of silver. The only reason I want to use it, is because I think there should be more weaknesses as a payment for more power. Derok
This is probably not what are you asking... But: http://i.imgur.com/fzhJV2Y.jpg A race I'm creating using Bethesda's unused meshes. They have some werewolf abilities, can eat people and stuff. Hangover180
I completely agree, werewolves in skyrim haven't seen nearly as much love as they deserve. it would be awesome to have werewolf powers in human form like enhanced night-vision, detect life and a werewolf howl. transforming just to have access to howls so you can run around biting and scratching is so tiresome. JetSteele
I have a mod thats not exactly what you are asking for but its similar. Its called Supernatural and it adds humanoid werewolves to the game. I took the werewolf abilities and added them to a human wolf form as well as made the beast form work like a Vampire Lord meaning it lasts forever. If your interested you could check it out and I am going to upgrade the mod so I might even add some of your suggestions to the human-wolf form since they are good ideas. Think about how Teen Wolf werewolves work and thats how the wolves in the mod work.
