Is there a way to edit the mesh of the cat model? Would like to try and mod my amputee cat into Stray!

Hi all!

 

Newcomer to the modding community here! As many people are doing, I'm looking to mod my cat into Stray if I can. I was thinking of using a pre-existing grey tabby cat texture, but the icing on the cake would be to be able to make the geometry of her rear left leg invisible since my cat only has three legs and that's the one she's missing in real life.

 

I'm not looking to change the animations or rigging or anything. I just want to make one leg invisible so it looks like it has three legs! If anyone could point me in the direction of how to attain and edit the existing cat model (or if it's even possible), please do! I have some Blender experience so I think I can pull it off, just don't know where to start.
