ADragonCalledGeorge Posted October 31, 2013 Share Posted October 31, 2013 So the only rumors in Skyrim are the ones at the beginning of a new game to trigger quests and the like, namely the guild quests and such. However, what about afterwards? Surely there should be rumors about the civil war or a group of Blades struggling to defeat Alduin the World Eater. There should definitely be a rumor about someone crashing a party and a ton of dead elves afterwards and an escaped prisoner. Put two and two together and you get my drift! Basically this mod concept is simple in that bar keeps around Skyrim should have more rumors about your quest progress such as Kodlak dying or werewolves being on the loose, or the Dawnguard, or the Dragonborn DLC. The possibilities are endless!! I think this would be a really cool mod and there are many more quests that could be triggered by rumors. For example if you didn't want to side with the blades or the graybeards, you could ask someone for a rumor and they'd say they heard rumor of a shouting wall and mark the location on your map. Things like that to make inns an interesting place and more important than to start your game and farm bandits for gold. Any thoughts? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
