Crowbennett08 Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 when i auto generate navmesh for a world space, it returns errors, and says GET JEAN!
TGBlank Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 The geck is obviously mistaking you for an X-Men. Feel proud.
low8all Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 when i auto generate navmesh for a world space, it returns errors, and says GET JEAN! lol Sounds to me like a devs addition that got left behind. Maybe Jean is a debugger or was involved with implementing the navmesh system into the geck and if an error was thrown, bingo.
Crowbennett08 Posted April 28, 2009 Author Posted April 28, 2009 The geck is obviously mistaking you for an X-Men. Feel proud. AWESOME!!!!!! and if so, it could only mean that i'm Wolverine, or Cyclops!!!!! which are imo the most bad*ss x-men! :thanks:
UncleRoe Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 i had the same problem when generating cell navs..i'd get the same message except my screen would flash a couple times and this guy with a freaked out haircut and metal claws poppin out of his hand would jump across my screen screaming " i can't find her!" can't figure this one out..i'm gonna have to get in my wheelchair and meditate on this one.
Spiney4 Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 when i auto generate navmesh for a world space, it returns errors, and says GET JEAN! That is Jean-Sylvere Simone of Bethsoft. He's in charge of pathfinding: http://fallout3.wordpress.com/2008/05/02/inside-simonet/ I could have sworn the navmesh pages said auto-generating navmeshes would be removed before GECK release. Thankfully I never tried to use it. they basically say "Don't use it!"http://geck.bethsoft.com/index.php/Navmesh_Creation_WorkflowAutomatic Navmesh Generation is unsupported in GECK v1.0 This development tool was designed for rapid generation of basic navmesh for area. The nature of archived art files removes the data this tool used to approximate navmesh. This documentation is left as an educational tool, and may prove useful to some modders, particularly those using entirely new art assets.
