Deleted54170User
I recoded my DSL Modem after noting the Internet light was blinking excessively while playing Fallout 3. I started to play again after removing my two prominent saves after I posted last. I got a message from some new software for network preparations that came with a Firewall and Security suite while I was attempting to get the Modems code to open the set up page for me that was not my codes for networking. 169.254.2x.1xx appeared in the new software alert that it had found a new network between my laptop and my PC station. After I corrected the security settng to a new set of numbers I closed the browser and the shut off the Modem. When it rebooted I was surprised to see all my code correctly being sited as the new network being found. I may have gotten in a hurry last time I did the changes to insure a secure modem and forgotten to set a different set than the common 192.168.0.1... But because I managed to play the game and not have one crash afterward I suspect that Fallout 3 is calling home a bit too much. Or some scanner was pinging my system trying to get past my secondary firewall. Whatever? I played the game without a blink, or a game save crash for a good hour or two afterward and decided to post these facts just in case there are some people out their who haven't properly set their modems for security sake in their homes. And just maybe someone else will have a revelation, as I have.

muskabeatz
As most other people in this topic, I downloaded 1.5 and it messed up my game by means of crashing on saves and fast travels or leaving areas etc. I decided the best idea would be to downgrade to patch 1.0.0.15 and use the fake patch, but my question is how do I downgrade from patch 1.5 to 1.0.0.15? do I have delete my fallout3.esm or something?
