Gorgopis
Over at Skyrim SE Technical support, we posted on our strange chiming sound and spinning cursor wheel appearing ONLY in-game, Skyrim SE, after tweaking our exploding-arrows mod and their area and damage values, so we're wondering if this is a CK issue. We are not getting the chime and spinning wheel at any other time or in any other game or app??? We investigated PC fixes for this issue, and there are some good ones out there, but we haven't tried anything yet, These are not occurring anywhere except playing Skyrim SE. We have not tried playing Oldrim, yet, to see if it's there, which might suggest a STEAM update issue or corruption? BTW, we can play Skyrim SE, but there is occasional mouse-lag, when we drag the mouse, and the cross-hairs still work, though the busy cursor spinning wheel remains somewhere on screen, following the directions of our mouse movements. And these issues only started after we built some exploding arrows with the Creation Kit and started testing them. Some of our arrow-settings may be "graphics-heavy" so maybe our NVIDIA card and settings are involved? We were guessing maybe our mod accidentally touches the mouse, or keyboard controls, (?), because this seems to be linked to noticeable mouse-lag, but only in-game. We tried resetting our preferred keyboard mapping, but that did not stop the two issues In the meantime, we are going to try disabling our mod, and see if the mouse/cursor behaviors in-game return to "normal." We did run the PC processor from the bios to spot anomalies, but everything checked normal to benchmarks. Help and advice appreciated. We are nervous about publishing our mod, because we do not want to transfer these issues to anyone's PC. We hope it's not a Vortex issue, because we know that Vortex writes necessary folders to enabled mods.
