Companion Troubles

Recommended Posts

Alright, so I'm sort of at a stand-still here. I downloaded the "Neeshka Advanced Companions" mod, that allows you to design your own companion. That worked great and everything. But here's where I run into trouble. I happen to have a certain custom item from a mod called "Extravagant Masks" that I want the companion to wear. However, the companion simply ignores it as though the item isn't even in it's inventory. So I was wondering if there was a way to manually equip it on the companion. (P.S. Sorry if this is in the wrong thread, I looked through them and thought this one looked the most appropriate for my problem.)

Sounds like that item is used by the Tail Slot NPCs will ignore this I'm having the same problem with trying to create a companion version of my character her Elf ears use the Tail slot so the companion does not use them.. you can try using nif scope to add your mask to a amulet it may work

elf ears can be added by changing the female foot.dds also thereby freeing up the tail slot

Awesome, thanks for the advice. Also on a side note, I have absolutely no modding experience, with that in mind...Would I be able to do what you said? If not are there any good guides you recommend?
