Often crash todesktop

My Machine info is on my Profile for all to see.

Here's something that could be causing crashes to happen.

I went ahead and installed 1.5 patch.

I played through the search for the History about Rivet City, the game play lagged a little, and near the last room I saw a couple of images blinking on and off on my screen in the background image.

Something on my computer software was getting triggered so I saw a square pop up into the picture showing a magnifying glass and a rectangle showing a line that displayed my user file and a few links to a sub-folder. It flashed on and off several times, and was so fast I could not read it until I stopped watching the movement and just pressed the walk button to observe the blinking images.

They occurred while my character was moving into the last room before I met H. Pinkerton.

I thought I might have left something else running, but when I quit the game there was nothing present on the desktop or on the side bar.

I know what the tool icon is, but what the games software was doing raising that list of folders into the background too, stumps me.

It could cause crashing on computers with less RAM or Video Card RAM than mine.

I had the same problem after installing Patch 1.5 and discovered the software I use, because so many mods made with it, it was not able to recognize the latest version of Fallout 3.

FOSE I surfed to the page and found the 1.1 beta 6 to help with Patch 1.5. Works for me.

I checked in on Timeslips bunch at this link FOMM too. Fallout Mod Manager has been upgraded a bit too. I like the new switch functions it has.

I gather a number of modders are using FOSE with their GECK Construction Kit so I would not be surprised if out of the many Mods I have in use there are a couple mods the creators built and just forgot to mention that FOSE is required to play their .esp Plugin or .esm Master file.

I use FOSE when I am not playing the DLC/s from Microsoft for Gamers "LIVE" just to be on the safe side.
